Autumn Reflecting & Group Blog Status?

I can’t remember the last time I was able to say, “This has been a good year.”  It’s been well over a decade, but I am happy to mark 2008 as a great year.  I mean, 511 days of being in remission (and counting) really changes my perspective on everything.  Because too many of the last dozen years have been overshadowed by cancer.  But, it’s more than just my health.  There’s also D. After a period of sniffing one another’s asses, we’ve decided that we’re a good match.  We bring out our best attributes (in each other).  Then there’s the career thing.  It’s been a demanding year, but I’ve made so many important connections (not to mention that I’ve brought in more money, this year, than the past 5 years combined).  The only blemish has been residing in Maryland.  When I came back here, to take care of my father, I’d forgotten the reasons that I’d left in the first place.  All year, I’ve told myself, “Ya shoulda packed your bags shortly after your dad died.”  But, in retrospect, that’s not the right attitude.  The time I’ve spent in Maryland has solidified my relationships with family.  That’s a good thing.  Cuz after decades away from them, they were strangers.  Seriously, they were.  Anyways, this posted piece is gonna seque into another topic (which I’ve been pondering over) and that is:

Do members of this group blog want to keep this project going?  Not a lot of posting (from numerous members) or commenting going on.  I realize we’re all busy (including myself).  Just want to know what people’s thoughts are…...

  1. c’mon bois ‘n ghurls. Say it with me… We are not abandoning this great effort and now that the summer lazzies are over-with we’ll all stop the “looky-loo” stuff and get re-energized, just you wait and see.

Seriously. This blog is way too important to let our collective focus be swayed.

    Seriously.

Steve says, “Why do you keep going to spam?! First on my blog, and now here!”
