The point of this blog was to let each of us fighting the ‘larger life dragon’; have a safe place to get out what we might not have been comfortable doing on our own blogs; and yet my attempt to make the setting lighter has turned into what seems to have become me usurping the original intent and turning this into a muzaq blog. That was never my intent and I’m stopping it after this post.
Before I do I’ve gotta share with you all one source of inspiration for me. A trippy little site called Party Favorz. To show you all just how special their blog is, I’m quoting directly from it to spread the word to all of you. It’s a great resource for House-Club-Circuit-Samba et., al, and the best part is… their entire catologue can be downloaded as a podcast. In fact the site motto is “feed your Pod“. So go there, download the casts and keep the party moving. Two of my current favs are the Pride 2008 recordings.
From the sites Author, Party Favorz is a series of mainstream club mixes I started back in 1999. It was a way for me to share my passion for house music and mixing with my friends. With the exception of 2005, I’ve been making them ever since. In November of 2007, I decided to take everything on-line and created the Party Favorz Blog. Here you will find all of my latest mixes in a variety of genres including: Circuit, Deep, Electro, Funky, Mainstream, Progressive, Tech and Classic House.
